  We have an exciting list of Journeys and Adventures in 2011
and are anxious to share our plans with you. 
You will find below the tour names, tentative dates and brief descriptions.


We are currently in the process of planning these trips.
Once we have all the activities, hotels and other details confirmed,
and the price finalized, we will remove the trip from this list
and post a completed itinerary with the price.

If you are interested in learning more about any of the 2011 tours,
make a pre-reservation.
It is very important to make a no-obligation pre-reservation.
Those who have made a pre-reservation will be notified first
when the full itinerary and pricing is posted.

A pre-reservation does not require any money.
Once the tour is finalized and a tour price available, those who have
sent in a pre-reservation will be contacted via email and
asked to decide if they want to make a deposit.
If you are no longer interested, you don't have to do anything!

2011 is the 135th Westminster Kennel Club All Breed Dog Show.  It is considered by many to be America's most prestigious dog show.  Take this opportunity to see the Westminster Dog Show and visit New York City at the same time. See if you can pick the winner!
 
Savannah and Golden Isles of GA Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: March 23-27, 2011  
Savannah is truly a unique city famous for its "pocket parks" and squares.  More than 800 of Old Savannah's 1,100 historic buildings have been restored and is now the largest urban National Historic Landmark District in the country.  The flags of five nations have flown over the Golden Isles and the remains of an English fort, plantation ruins and Victorian homes represent their diverse history.
 
Hawaii Cruise Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: March 26-Apr 2, 2011  
The best way to island-hop the Hawaiian islands is on our 7 day cruise visiting Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island of Hawaii.  Each island is unique with its own distinct personality and stunning sights to visit.  Kilauea is one of the most active volcanoes on earth.  We may see the action from the ship - a highlight of the cruise.
 
Charleston Home & Garden Tour Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: March 27-31, 2011  
Charleston, South Carolina is a city that still cherishes its history. Beautifully restored antebellum homes, hidden gardens and quaint churches are set upon the backdrop of Charleston Harbor.  We will take a peek into the lovely homes of Charleston and see what it's like to live in homes dating from the Revolutionary War and built by wealth merchants and sea captains.
 
Israel and Jordan Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: April 4-16, 2011  
Experience the history and diversity of both Israel and Jordan.  Jerusalem is a city of enormous historical importance and a holy city of great religious importance.  The 2,000-year-old city of Petra in Jordan, which the ancient Nabataeans carved out of colorful sandstone cliffs, has recently been named one of the "New Seven Wonders of the World," and is quite simply amazing.
 
London and Paris Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: April 10-16, 2011  
Spring finds both London and Paris alive with things to do.  Our trip will include 3 nights in London and 3 nights in Paris, giving you ample time to explore these cities. Enjoy the famous Euro Star train as our transportation between London and Paris.
 
Path of Presidents Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: April 23-May 1, 2011  
During this tour, we will explore the homes of three presidents; Monticello, Ash Lawn-Highland and Mt. Vernon.  Skyline Drive, in the Shenandoah National Forest, provides beautiful scenery and vistas as we travel to Washington DC where we will enjoy an in-depth tour of the monuments and memorials on the National Mall plus Pennsylvania Avenue - the grand boulevard connecting the White House and Capitol Hill - to view the U.S. Capitol and the Supreme Court.
 
Nashville to New Orleans via Natchez Trace Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: May 8-13, 2011  
For a visit to a byway rich in history, we will travel from Nashville to New Orleans via the Natchez Trace Parkway. We will enjoy the Trace's rich wildlife and scenery and visit towns along the way.  From prehistoric American Indian mounds, to antebellum homes, there are thousands of years of history along the Natchez Trace.
 
Ireland - The Emerald Isle Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: May 11-21, 2011  
Ireland is a very popular destination and for good reason. The landscape is breathtaking, the people charming, and English is spoken by most.  You'll learn about Ireland's history and culture with visits to ancient monastic sites and medieval castles.  See breathtaking scenery from Connemara to the Cliffs of Moher.  The Cliffs of Moher are Ireland's top natural scenic attraction as well as the beautiful Connemara region.  In Dublin you may immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and history of the Irish capital.
 
New Orleans to Little Rock & the Ozarks Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: May 16 - 21, 2011  
Our tour begins in the always-exciting New Orleans and ends in Little Rock.  We will drive along parts of the historic Natchez Trace Parkway, visit the Ozark Mountains and tour the Clinton Presidential Library.  William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Park is the largest presidential library and has a replica of the Oval Office. The Arkansas State Capitol is modeled after the U.S. Capitol and has been used in several movies.
 
Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Taos Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: May 30-June 4, 2011  
New Mexico is known as the "Land of Enchantment."  Discover Albuquerque's 300-year-old Old Town and visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center.  Santa Fe boasts of scenic beauty, long history, cultural diversity, and extraordinary concentration of arts, music and fine dining. From here we will explore the surrounding areas including Taos and the well-preserved Bandelier National Monument; an extensive complex of cliff dwellings built by the Anasazi, ancestors of today's Pueblo culture.
 
Albuquerque to Denver & Colorado Rockies Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: June 5-11, 2011  
Discover Albuquerque's 300-year-old Old Town and visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. Santa Fe is consistently rated one of the world's top travel destinations for its scenic beauty, long history, cultural diversity, and extraordinary concentration of arts, music and fine dining. The Rocky Mountain National Park showcases the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains, with elevations ranging from 8,000 feet to 14,259 feet, providing us with opportunities for countless breathtaking experiences and adventures.
 
Denver to SLC - Rockies, Canyonlands & Arches NP Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: June 13-19, 2011  
Come experience an opportunity to see a part of the U.S. few will ever see. Some of the National Parks of Utah are so remote that the only way to see them is to take a road trip. We will meander our way through places that define the southwest's beauty and diverse landscape. We'll visit places like Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park and the Colorado National Monument.  Our final destination is Salt Lake City.
 
Europe's Danube River Cruise Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: June 18-25, 2011  
During this 8-day river cruise journey, encounter the grand cities and quaint villages along the celebrated Danube River. Explore both sides of Hungary's capital - traditional "Buda" and more cosmopolitan "Pest' - and from Fishermen's Bastion, see how the river divides this fascinating city. Experience Vienna's imperial architecture and gracious culture, and tour riverside towns in Austria's Wachau Valley. And in Germany, explore a baroque cathedral and stroll cobbled streets lined with half-timbered houses. Savor the tastes of authentic dishes, learn about local legends, and understand why Strauss immortalized the "Blue Danube" in his famous melody.
 
Kayaking the Green River, Utah Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: June 20-26, 2011  
This 5 day/4 night kayak trip is the perfect trip to escape to the great outdoors. The Green River is the longest stretch of undammed flat water in the Southwest.  Journey down the river, floating through one of the most scenic canyons on earth, through white, yellow, brown and red canyon walls with hairpin switchbacks accented by towering buttes and mesas rising 1,500 feet above the river.  No experience is required.
 
Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: June 26-July 3, 2011  
Yellowstone National Park is one of this country's most beloved parks. Not only was it our first National Park but its rich geological history is as active today as it was when the Park was created in 1872 by President Ulysses S. Grant.  Nearby is the more recently established Tetons National Park with its pristine lakes and jagged snow capped mountains.  Include a visit to Jackson Hole and you have all the ingredients for a wonderful week.
 
Grand Canyon, Bryce & Zion National Parks Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: July 4-10, 2011  
Three national parks in one special trip. It is the uniqueness of the rocks that caused Bryce Canyon to be designated as a national park. These famous spires, called "hoodoos," are formed when ice and rainwater wear away the weak limestone.  The north rim of the Grand Canyon is less crowded than the South Rim but just as spectacular, offering a sense of looking across the expanse of the canyon, rather than into its depths and providing a magnificent view of the river below.  Zion National Park is famous for its multi-colored sheer cliffs and monolithic sandstone walls.
 
Fjords of Norway Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: July 14-23, 2011  
Norway is majestic fjords, waterfalls, and the land of the midnight sun.  Our tour of this beautiful country will take in the lively city of Oslo, the medieval city of Bergen, and the natural beauty of the landscape, carved so many years ago by glaciers cascading into the sea.
 
Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: July 15-21, 2011  
Lake Tahoe is the largest Alpine Lake in America. South Lake Tahoe offers beautiful views of mountains covered with fir and pine trees, deep blue water year-round, and a wealth of outdoor activities. Yosemite Valley is only seven miles long and less than a mile wide, but it ranks higher in scenery per square foot than perhaps anywhere else in the world.  Sequoia National Park is nearby and is named for its groves of Sequoia trees, the largest trees known.
 
San Francisco and Napa Valley Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: July 21-26, 2011  
The charms of the City by the Bay and the delights of California's wine country combine to create a tour of the senses.  Enjoy a taste (actually lots of tastes) of the wines of the region and a visit to the Culinary Institute of America.
 
San Francisco and the Pacific Coast Highway Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: July 26-31, 2011  
The magnificent Golden Gate Bridge with fog rolling in from the Pacific is a sight you will not soon forget.  Then there are the cable cars painted in their 1873 colors just waiting for you to hop on and take an unforgettable ride.  This trip combines San Francisco with the beauty of the Pacific Coast Highway and the famous 17-Mile Drive. We will visit the seaside towns of Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur. Each area has its own beauty and charm. This is an ideal trip for those looking to see San Francisco but want to see more than just the city.
 
South Africa Photo Safari Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: August 2-13, 2011  
South Africa is a land of breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, abundant wildlife, golden beaches, excellent wineries, dramatic coastline and national parks. Cape Town is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world set between the mountains and the sea. Our trip to South Africa will center around a safari to get a close up look at the abundant wildlife.
 
The Grand Canyon and Sedona Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: August 2-8, 2011  
We begin in Las Vegas known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World".   Our journey will then take us to the Grand Canyon. Grand Canyon National Park covers more than 1.2 million acres of forests, streams, waterfalls, deserts, canyons, and plateaus making this a truly unique destination.  The canyon's grandeur at sunrise and sunset are sure to make for memorable highlights.  Included in this wonderful trip will be a visit to Sedona, AZ and the beauty of the spectacular red rocks.  Phoenix, Arizona's largest city, is our final destination.
 
Phoenix to Denver: Grand Canyon to the Rockies Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: August 9-15, 2011  
Welcome to Sedona, Arizona! This awe-inspiring corner of the world is considered sacred to the Native Indians. Your first hint that you have arrived is a solitary red rock formation jutting out of the landscape. As you travel a bit further, the red rocks begin to multiply until you are completely surrounded by their grace and beauty. The Grand Canyon Railroad will take us in vintage rail cars to the Grand Canyon.  Our route to Denver provides a view into the ever-changing landscape; the petrified forest, Canyon de Chelly, Mesa Verde, Pagosa Springs, Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak.
 
Denver to Washington, DC - Middle America Tour Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: August 17-24, 2011  
Have you ever wanted to visit cities in middle America?  We know their names and we fly over them on our way to someplace else but never stop to visit.  Here�s a chance to do just that.  Begin in the mile-high city of Denver, stop in Kansas City, continue to St. Louis and end in Washington DC.  Along the way we will get a glimpse of small town mid-west life, sample the food and enjoy the sights.
 
Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, Canada Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: September 2-8, 2011  
Come to Canada and visit two different but equally beautiful Provinces - Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Halifax's origins and rich maritime history derive from its strategic location on one of the world's great natural harbors. Cabot Trail is a breathtaking coastal drive.  Charlottetown, capital of Prince Edward Island, is a quaint and pretty town, small enough to be able to walk around.  Prince Edward Island National Park has wildlife, rich salt marshes and dramatic bluffs along the coast. One of the best ways to experience Island life is to meander along the various back roads and highways.
 
Mediterranean Cruise and Turkey Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: September 7-17, 2011  
Picture teak-lined decks, towering sails, and the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea.  White-washed villages, ancient temples and marble columns welcome you to the Greek Isles. With its long history at the center of empires, Istanbul offers a wealth of historic and religious places to take in. On this ship you're free to do as you please and on your own schedule. There's no dress code. Five-star dining is informal and casually elegant (leave the formal gowns at home), complemented by a wide selection of fine wines.
 
Montreal and Quebec City, Canada Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: September 10-16 , 2011  
From the cosmopolitan city of Montreal to the old European charm of Quebec City, this trip to Canada will give you a wonderful introduction to our neighbors up north. Montreal is the largest French-speaking city after Paris, and provides an amazing glimpse into the Old World of French North America. Quebec City has 400 years of history, and is one of the most charming cities in all of North America. The old portion of the city is reminiscent of a European village complete with a beautiful Chateau overlooking the St. Lawrence River.
 
Vermont and the Green Mountain Inn Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: September 18-23, 2011  
We will begin in Burlington and visit the surrounding sights.  We�ll change hotels and set up base camp for the next few days in the 4-star, award-winning Green Mountain Country Inn,  located in the heart of Stowe village. The Inn is on the National Register of Historic Places. From Stowe we will enjoy daily tours of the surrounding areas to visit typical Vermont sites including covered bridges, a maple sugar farm, and a cider mill.  Our time in Vermont will also include a boat trip on Lake Champlain, Shelburne Museum, a visit to Ben & Jerry�s and Cabot Cheese, and even time to enjoy a hiking or biking opportunity.
 
Upstate New York and the Adirondacks Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: September 25-30, 2011  
Beautiful scenery and fall colors highlight this trip. The Adirondack Mountains are the true wilderness of New York, protected by an enormous state park that encompasses most of the upper third of the state. These mountains are unique in the United States because of the number of lakes (689) found in their midst. These lakes are known for their panoramic views and secluded sand beaches.
 
Rome, Florence, and Venice Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: September 28 - October 8, 2011  
Rome, the Eternal City; Florence, birthplace of the Renaissance; and Venice, the city of canals, surrounds you with stunning art, fantastic ruins and ancient architecture.  All three cities have wonderful architecture:  the Colosseum, Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel and David; Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo, St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace. A trip to the Vatican and St. Peters Basicila is always a highlight of a visit to Rome.
 
Williamsburg, VA at Christmas-time Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: December 1-4, 2011  
During the holiday season, Colonial Williamsburg doors and windows are wreathed in arrangements fashioned with holly, pine, apples, feathers, oranges and pineapples.  Restored to its 18th-century glory with interpreters in period dress living its 18th-century lifestyle, Colonial Williamsburg is especially beautiful at Christmas time.  Visit restored buildings including Virginia's colonial Capitol, the Governor's Palace, Raleigh Tavern, Bruton Parish Church and scores of colonial homes and shops.
 
Tournament of Roses Parade, CA Make a Pre-Reservation
Tentative Dates: Dec. 28, 2011 - Jan. 2, 2012  
On January 1, 2012 spectators from around the world will celebrate the New Year with the Rose Parade. The Rose Parade will once again feature the beautiful pageantry and tradition of magnificent floral floats, high-stepping equestrians and spirited marching bands.  What makes this parade so special is that we will have the opportunity to participate in float preparations and then watch the parade from premium seats on New Year's Day. If you've ever wondered how this parade becomes reality, this trip is for you.
