Comments from WTT Travelers

In the years Women Traveling Together has been offering travel for women, we have received countless letters, emails, cards and positive comments on travel survey forms. The purpose in sharing these comments is to help you understand what motivates women to travel with us and their reactions after traveling. Perhaps you will "see yourself" in some of the words and feelings expressed and take the next step–to travel with WTT.

Just in case you were wondering...
all women are welcome
but
WTT
is not a lesbian group.

The First Trip...

This may have been a unique group–I don’t know. But it didn’t matter from the first what religion, political party, economic group, etc. you were in–everyone was clearly here to have a good time, and that we did.
- Eileen Brown
Homosassa, Florida

I have always wanted to...tour homes in the South. I also wanted a short trip to "test" traveling with WTT. It was just the right mix of planned activities and free time. Our hotel was the BEST. The location next to the transportation center made getting around the city very easy. The meals were nice and I did not feel limited in my choices. I have already recommended WTT to several friends and will continue to do so.
- Kay Zaike
Edmonton, Washington

I was hesitant on what to expect at first since this was my first trip with a group. [The tour leaders] and the group made it easy and made me feel comfortable. I enjoyed this trip so much, I’ve decided to go back on another trip again soon, on my next vacation.
- Carmella Paguia
East Elmhurst, New York

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the Everglades trip. It was a new experience traveling alone but meeting wonderful people. I hope to travel with you again soon.
- Mikki Kosek
Palos Hills, Illinois

After Multiple Trips with WTT...

This picture was taken on one of our trips in 2003 to commemorate that - at the time of the picture - these 8 women had taken a total of 30 trips with Women Traveling Together!

Obviously if these trips weren’t great I wouldn’t keep taking them. Keep up the good work.
- Peggy Robinson
Littleton, New Hampshire

As I’ve said: WTT’s approach suits me beautifully–busy but small enough to be flexible. Well led and organized. What a privilege it is to be one of "WTT’s family."
- Ardy Yoder
Nampa, Idaho

I continue to travel with WTT because the groups are small– it makes for a more enjoyable, personal atmosphere. The itineraries are top notch and the standards for venues and accommodations are high.
- Staci Sigrist
Spartanburg, South Carolina

We have now had so many women take repeat trips that we have started the "Four or More" Club to recognize their love of travel.  As of January 2005, we have 39 women with 4 or more trips with WTT.

About WTT Staff & Service...

As you can tell by all my questions, this touring is a first for me. Everyone at Women Traveling Together has been so nice and helpful, it just confirms my decision that I made the right choice selecting your tour.
- Judy Nicholson
Tucson, Arizona

I liked that you give such detail (cost, itinerary) on your web site and what you said was and wasn’t included [on the tour] was true.
- Kristie Kemp
Thornton, Colorado

The organized tours were great and very educational. [the tour leader] was very caring and professional, and at the same time, she was "one" with the group. I had a ball.
- Marcia Moosnick
New York, New York

Comparing Tour Companies

Kim had previously traveled with a solo travel group:

Even though the other company had a lower price to begin with, I had to spend money for additional things that Women Traveling Together includes, and in the end, the other trip was more expensive. WTT also stayed in better hotels, provided much nicer meals where you could order off the menu and I loved the tour leaders.
- Kim Yerkes
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

The media is also singing our praises:

"Women are traveling in record numbers with the help of organizations like Women Traveling Together."
                                               Consumer Report Travel Letter

"California dreaming? Alps pining? Women who wish they could travel but hesitate to go it alone now have another option."
                                                                Dallas Morning Star

"Women Traveling Together has established a nationwide niche market that caters to women only."
                             Travel World News

"It’s a woman’s world. Adventure travel is now a female pursuit."
                                                                                               Newsweek Magazine
